This body of work consists of collages and sculptures made between 1993-2023. I've always wanted to be an artist. I love color. Composition is crucial for me. I find it gives abstraction a sense of balance.
My work contains an emotional and honest simplicity that reflects my sentiments about the world. I'm an autoditactic artist who gets inspiration from many art sources, especially the Surrealists. Tapping into the unexpected using improvisation and experimentation gives me great satisfaction. Sculpture fascinates me. Stone and particularly marble is my favorite medium. Working in smaller formats I find it easy to move the stone quickly acheiving results that often astound me. This is what keeps me motivated as an artist.
